Hawkwind/knox show us burned note:

Knox – Athenish made contact with lord shaw two weeks ago, around time that shaw faded. Didn’t trust shaw. Shaw seemed to have ill will, athenish didn’t trust

Knox suggest someone will have to voluntarily going into the fade. Athenish tried but was rejected. Believes dragon knows how to get into the fade

Knox tells us Cleo is bad news. Tricksy. Speaks to a hidden spirit. More isolated places have more long lasting portals.

Knox tells us of Athenish in Milliport’s burns – magic burns, never been seen.

We go into the castle, meet Whitman, price, hadaan. They tell us that they feel nothing can be done.

They tell us of people wearing green arm bands, furthering the fade’s effort – The Followers of the Absconcion. There are multiple groups of followers.

Whitman tells us of a music contest. Joy of besting others.

Luk/Kex have barleywine, Rel has ale.

Rel chats up Whitman – finds out that Hawkwind is a hell of a bass player and usually wins the song contests

We have dinner, it’s very nice and good.

Knox siddles up, tells us he knows we have the book of zorn (found out from Scanlan). Athenish desires the diary of zorn.

Rel shows Hawkwind the diary of zorn. Knox is pissed because he wanted it.  Things get tense, everyone wants the diary. Let’s review with Solasta when she gets here.

“Cheers to Kexyl the Crab Killer!”

Hawkwind pulls us aside – tells us she cant read diary without the scrolls in the basement of castle. We can prove ourselves by getting them. Scrolls will be in one of the four ante-chambers, bundled together in a green case.

Start discussing music contests. “You will not best me” we learn she has an eight-string bass.

We’re told to watch after cooky. He tells Rep about his new omelette
Cooky gonna stay in kitchen. Wants us to find cookbooks

Lux eats an after-dinner omelet from cooky. Hawkwind takes interest in the after dinner omelette, she loves it “omelettes made in the ogre styling”

Hawkwind suggests taking cookie to get recipes

Hawkwind calls out Lux. Suggests she knows him from a merchant guild issue where someone screwed over smiths and tanners and she had to compensate

She goes to get ready for music show. Kex tries to rip off salamander head, no dice. Rel tries and fails too.

Kex to cooky about food. Kex grabs tiger skin/pelt and head from slop barrel . Kex puts on tiger head

Wyyld Stallions is their band name. Wait no it’s Cat People

Rel puts coal on himself, hurts a little.

Kex is leaving a lot of blood, “aint no mopping up blood from white tile” – cooky. Rel and Cooky start cleaning up blood. They clean up the hallway – but that’s it

Dwarf emcees Music Competition of the Castle of Hawkwind. Baloo (dwarf) is there from the basement to judge competitions fairly.

Hawkwind dressed in all black.

Rel starts walking around like a cat but not on all fours. Rubbing against furniture. Jesse admits he saw the movie CATS. Rel getting weird looks. Rel starts lapping up a bowl of heavy cream.

Balloo tells Rel to get ready, Rel says “meow”. “WE’RE TRYING TO GET THE SHOW STARTED BUT YOU’RE DISRUPTING THE PROCEEDINGS”

Knox volunteers to go on first.

Lux tells Kex that Rel wants him.

Knox plays baritone pan flute, really knocks out beginning, verse is solid. Solid ending.

Rel goes to get Kex, – they’re on next

Kex leaps up on stage, with tiger head on his head. Hyping up the crowd. Rel joins

They’re doing well. Nail the intro, building up, jaws are dropping, crowd is loving it, Kex does a wall jump off of rel. well executed. They nail the ending and kex does a thunderclap and knocks like everyone over.

Hawkwind is not happy about it. Baloo has scribbled a lot in his book (more than Knox).

Kex high-five’s cooky and goes back to the green room.

Cooky goes next. Acapella singing. Song about cooking/not enough ingredients. Not great.

All the knights take the stage “WE ARE HAWKWIND” – plays shot down in the night. Nail the beginning, stumble in middle and they fuck up the end. Too drunk. Hawkwind is pissed.

Cat People are the winner tonight.

Kex comes on stage and takes off tiger head and says “it was me all along”. No one was fooled.

Hawkwind praises Cat People. Please accept the title of Jammaster of Hawkwind Castle. A medal will be made.

Rel talks to Baloo about the basement. Lots of talk about mold and the library.

Hawkwind sets us up in luxury suites.

We wake up and cooky brought us some tiger brisket.

Cooky shows us his cleaver. Four of us go down into the library.

Library is total mess. Eerie glow, no lighting. Rel gets minor hints of magic all over.

Two areas have more magic – one antechamber and one set of shelves.

We check out the shelves, thinking that the dragon books are there.

Lux sees a moving book, flies out of the stack and turns into a human stack of papers.

We fight the Paper Wraith^TM aka Book Creature

Cookie tried to use meat cleavers. Rel got attacked by a hand.

Lux ends up killing him and says “put that in the papers”

Kex gets scroll of cure serious wounds

We go to bottom left antechamber. Things are nicer. We find a magic book.

We beat the other Paper Wraith. We find a cookbook for Cooky
