We’re at Time Inn – Jimmy Page is playing the double neck Ovation from the Page and Plant tour.

We tell Morris about the contraption – he says we were only gone a second. Says with this contraption, we can fight Binary Prime. We are reminded we have Binary Prime’s transporter and he can’t travel.

Morris senses that BP is no longer on the plane of law – no idea where he is. Could be on our original realm (fellen) or somewhere else. We talk about what to do with Cooks/Neves. Cooks wants to cook some real food.

We all hold hands (Kex, Jartha, Lux, Cooks, Neves), Morris stands in the center.

We activate Lycor Mechanism.

We fly through tubes and tunnels like the movie Contact.

Constitution check – Neves and Kex fail but recover with a strength thing.

We materialize in a building. Hole in the ceiling that extends two floors up. Fire and smoke coming down. Kex and Neves immediately barf.  Lycor mechanism disintegrates.

Binary Prime is prone on the floor where we landed. Kex and Jartha prod him, no sign of life. BP has large wound to his chest. Neves says creature is completely non magical, I think he’s dead.

Kex does investigation on the wound. Can’t really tell anything other than what pierced it.  Jartha takes the index finger of dominant hand.

We head up the stairs. Next level is nothing. We take stairs to sublevel 1. It’s a laboratory with dead bodies. Whatever we are under is on fire. Dead cultists. We see yet another evolved arm band that has a white dragon on it with rather fine craftsmanship. Hawkwind was the white dragon we met very early on.

Kex casts talk with dead. Can ask it five questions.

Kex: What happened here:
Dead cultist: I was on patrol, there was a great battle in the sky, BP was fighting Hawkwind and BP was thrown down through the floor.

Kex: Have you ever seen Hawkwind or BP prior to this scuffle?
DC: I saw Hawkwind as Cultist Gathering 2025 – was keynote speaker and played some bass.

Kex: What we you patrolling for?
DC: was patrolling outside of our camp, we’re in the battle of Liddenton (which we know is up by Milpool)

Kex asks about Battle of Liddenton
DC: it involves the just and right Cultists of Obsconsion facing the Talon of Jahree.

Kex: What do you know about Cleo Pipe
DC: the great Demi god Cleo pipe wages war against Jahree in the lands of Ash

We look at the books. Jartha (via a 20) determines that the book shows plans to use a catapult to send fading globes. Jartha takes the book of fading catapult.

We go up the other stairs, wearing the latest in cultist arm band stylings.

We see/smell smoke, battle in the distance. We’re in a large camp, fire all over and dead bodies. The carnage is recent.

We hear the sounds of battle in the distance – in multiple directions.

Jartha spies two cultists by a gate with arm bands.

We approach in a “get help” type rouse – as popularized in Thor Ragnorok. Jartha throws Neves at one of the soldiers. Cultist deflects the attack.

Cultists solider says explain yourself, I don’t recognize you. Jartha says I don’t recognize you. The cultist thief says fuck this let’s do all five of them.

We fight. Then a barbarian appears with a staff.

Lux remembers to roll charisma – 5, probs not getting action at the bonfire tonight.

Amusing antics by Jartha, who was momentarily blinded in battle.

Cooks throws a cleaver and with a 20!

We kill the cultists and the barbarian and we hear hoofsteps. We scatter.

Into the camp ride four warriors with the emblem of a blue owl on the front. “Quite a battle here”. Kex engages. “Hi” Whoa, what is this creature. It bears the cultists arm bands. We take off our arm bands and make nice.

We sus each other out and the wizard calls us the failed triumvirate (RUDE!). Does it looks like we aged five years. Have only heard the stories of your failure.

Lux says we have conquered dimensions, we are friends with Jaree (put off by the mistreatment, speaks of their deeds and brandishes the owl figurine). The Wizard, Allerian the Wise identifies himself and is suspicious of us. Not impressed by the figurine, but interested in Cleo Pipe’s pipe, Jartha smoke him out. This is some good shit. I believe you – you must be the triumvirate that has passed through the portal. Please accompany us to Lord Oakley’s camp.

Cookie emerges. Takes a hit of the pipe. Cleo’s Pipe of Refilling Weed.

We’re led through a war zone to the camp. Foggy, smoky, many people in it.

Allerian leads us towards Lord Oakley. We are led past the guards. It’s a large base – with a blacksmithing area with one WAYLAND SMITHEREENS.  Kex is like hey Wayland – he’s like it’s been so many years. Says the fadings intensified after you left. The army of the north have ravaged through Milpool and Winchendon and making ground on Ash. Kex asks about Cleo Pipe and Hawkwind – they are working together. Jaree and other large land owners are against them. Jartha introduces himself. Does military handshake. Wayland remarks on his shield – offers to work on it.  Fixes that shit up – shield is pristine. We talk time.

We carry on our way. Lord Oakley stands to great us. Allerian who have you brought before me – this appears to be the triumvirate of failure. Jartha – first of all there are five of us. Kexyl is like we haven’t failed. Kex talks about our exploits including the fading. Oakley says this is stark news – wants a full recap. But before we do that, we must invite someone else to the conversation. Lord Athenish joins the party! Says I see the triumvirate of promise. We tell the story. Asks Kex to play – he plays the lute. Plays Stairway – everyone starts smoking weed. Athenish and Oakley’s demeanor changes/softens – they understand. Says up north is lost – festooned with military. Lands of Jaree have grown – big win was acceptance over the Sothmarsh. Mentions Winchendon has fallen. The black circle of fading has grown now – large breathing sounds emanate from the area- world dragon. Athenish explains fighting the cultists is a bit of a distraction.

We ask about the BP/versus Hawkwind. Mentions BP was gone for a number of years only recently to re-emerge. BP questioned his role and how aiding Cleo Pipe might result in his own destruction. Hawkwind intervened. Kex talks about our history with BP re: teleportation device/discovering his corpse.

Oakley says he will have more questions. Talks about feeling forlorn after we left as we were gone for so long. Commends us on battling BP, Jartha brags (again) about destroying the tower. Lux says “they got me eye”. Many people turn away. Athenish says maybe he can help with Lux’s eye.

Oakley says your arrival has changed much – soon new tales will be told. You may assist us here or return to the lands of Jaree and assist him in his fight. Jaree’s woods are solid and bigger, but Jaree is very old. Soon will come his time.

Athenish says to Jartha – come friend I have something for you. You do not remember me do you? Jartha doesn’t remember him. Connections to previously hiring the Bone Army. Says I have this, which I recovered some time ago. Hands him a small crystal. Says I recovered this on a battlefield many years ago – a battlefield that I was a part of. Says sit about a fire, crush the crystal in your hand, you will see. Athenish says I must retire. We will meet again soon – talk to Lord Oakley.  Kex played his outro music.

Oakley offers us five tents. We hype up Cookingsby who is known as a legend.

We huddle up, Jartha’s really high, keeps interrupting. We’re not totally sure what to do.

Jartha goes to the fire and crushes the crystal and an explosion happens. Jartha goes blind – someone from a war camp is looking at the Jartha and the vision is from that individual’s point of view(in his vision). Jartha is guarding a royal’s tent, in the forest. In this vision, Jartha is holding his post. A large being (skeleton knight) with sword/shield – fucking everyone up. Does fireball on Jartha against the tree. Points to the POV vision person and says “die”! And that person dies.

Jartha comes over to us and says he thinks he was a bad guy. Says he saw a friend of his die from a bone solider. Talks about his vision – he was an elite solider paid for by anyone who could afford but they fucked up his memory. He thinks he was a bad guy that killed innocent people. Talks about skeleton solider.  We discuss Athenish and why he would give you this crystal. Let’s keep adventuring together.

DM clarifies that Jartha was honorably guarding a royal and death knight came into camp and fucked everyone up. Jartha is worried – wants to find more crystals. He’s worried he’s a mercenary, not a solider.

We ask Oakley about how in touch with Jaree’s camp. In touch with Jaree’s First – the person now in charge is a new disciple. A dwarf named WhisperBranch – rules in Jaree’s stead. WhisperBranch is cunning, intelligent, priestly man. Rel married Lyric married and have kids and only hold symbolic roles. We ask about fastest way to get to Ash. Says we could go south along the coast, straight route will fast face the greatest amount of conflict. Basically short route with more fight longest route with fewer fights. There is also the possibility of sailing around (via a confiscated boat at Winchendon) which would be longer.

We huddle and discuss. Kex calls THE PRELATE! Kex asks about WhisperBranch – says he knows the Vicar. Is devout and pure, good guy. Knows him to be a standup guy. Kex asks where the Prelate is. Prelate is in Ash, are many of those that used to live in Alibeth. Asks about what danger would exist if Jaree were to pass soon. Prelate says you are describing The Great Worry. We wonder, but do not know. We are faithful that his death will not be terribly disruptive. We ask about the world dragon, we have not answers. Stopping Hawkwind, Cleo Pipe seem to be the only things we can do. Says no one has Cleo Pipe in year, Vario is up here very often. Commands the Ash Born – Vario is a very powerful creature.  Only the most powerful of magic users could disguise themselves as an imp. Perhaps a wizards, lytch, ancient dragon. Says he trusts lord Oakley and Lord Athenish implicitly.

We ask about the Bone Brigade – supposedly deployed many times around Millpool. Prelate asks Jartha are you a Heather Graduate. Says he has a Heathe Academy graduate in my entourage. Drozin. Perhaps you should seek him out. Says he hasn’t seen Drozin in years – perhaps he is with Jaree.

We let Prelate Sagamore go – Jartha remembers Heather Academy is all about being elite.

We feel like we should head to Ash.
