Jartha wakes up, super hungover. Goes to the bar, Bug is like they went to the polyhedral building. They let him know it’s not an easy place to find. Bug is like I may have a way to teleport you to your friends, or close there to. It’s a high fee. You must sacrifice an item of great importance. I can only use this for you group once. “it’s totally not a DM convenience factor”. Jartha tries to pawn of a ring, no dice. Dragons tooth, but your transport would not be guaranteed. Your boneshield on the other hand. You haven’t seen the full power of this item. Bug tells him of a deep power within. Bug agrees to take the dragons tooth and the emerald ring. They get a round of special beer. Jartha gets teleported to the dungeon. Goes through the dungeon sees all the carnage etc.

Jartha catches up to the group. Tells us Bug helped him get here. We brief Jartha on the whole deal. Tell him of binary prime.

We go north of the room where we ended. Looks like drinking/cards evidence. Neves hangs back.  Lux is like Jartha put on those gloves. Jartha puts them on and they feel more like leather than metal. Things feel lighter. It’s like you’re jerking your sword around furiously. It feels like leather.

Jartha goes into the next room – cave like. There’s a brook, evidence of people. Dude passed out in the corner. Jartha goes through the brook, using his cuffs of bone driedness. The water is only cuff high. Jartha tries to wake the dude with the dagger on the neck. WTF dude get off of me. Jartha’s like where are your buddies. Jartha almost kills him. Guy says were here to oversee the operations.  Portal is to the south.  We talk about binary prime. Sometimes he’s by the portal. Binary Prime can teleport whenever he wants. Through the passageway, lots of drones. Lornath on powdered beer number two.

Lornath is like this wood isn’t the same as those boxes. Looks like this wood is from Milport. Not good wood for burning. Normally you burn the Winchendon stuff.  Lornath starts smoking with Winchendon papyrus.

Jartha asks cultist about the wood. Captain McRaith brough it with him when he faded in from the portal. Jartha knocks the guy out and leave an indentation in his forehead.

We hear the clickity clacks as we head south. We see dead creatures and blood. We hear a lot of drones. There’s a greenish portal, Modrones working around the portal. A number of high-ranking cubes and stars. Jartha goes to the other way – long cavern. Despite Lux clearing traps, Jartha gets ahead and sets one off. Fireball trap. We come across a pit with a ladder. Lux peaks in and there’s Harrison Vangelos. What the hells going on up there. Lornath is like hey guys I think they hear us. Around the corner, three tritones! Lornath gets attacked. We proceed with a normal fight. Then we hear a drone say intruder, all monodrones to combat. Lornath pours powdered beer on the tritone. Tritone just starts saying does not computer. We keep fighting – two cultists show up. One of them summons more help.

During Lornath’s turn, he’s pissed that he can’t go through the cloud of daggers. Throws a beer, misses with his mug.

Other cultist casts a spell. It’s a heavy fight now. We hear scuffling and shuffling. Then a pentadrone appears.  Says interlopers. Quadrones enter as well. We keep fighting and shit happens then we hear a voice ”finish the boxes and transport them through. I shall deal with this problem myself.”

Lornath is down!

Behind the group an entity appears. It’s a huge humanoid robot. I AM BINARY PRIME. Casts lightning bolt. We keep fighting. Kex tries to polymorph Binary Prime. Binary Prime says “superior magic detected. Initiate action: flee”. The fight is tough. Eventually we flee up the ladder towards Harrison. We tell him of our troubles. We ask to rest in his presence. We rest. Oh also Lornath died.

We wake up and talk about the quadrones not really fighting until after Lornath died.

Kex casts talk with dead. Talks to Lornath. He’s danging arms and legs in the air.

Q (from Kex):Lornath – when you died, the quadrones said command link severed. What does that have to do with your death?

A: (from Lornath) this would only occur if operation to ship globes back to other plane was ceased. Modrones would shut down operation.

Q (from Kex): are you in charge of shipping staves/globes.

A: (Lornath): no.

Q: (from Lux): what’s up with the magic here?

A: (lornath): culitsts that arrive from the portal have magic for a bit – that’s why there are cultists here

Q: (from Kex): Lornath, what is your affiliation with the drone operation

A: (lornath): I have no direct affiliation with Binary Prime’s operation here

Q: (from Kex): can you tell us about other places you’ve been to on this plane?

A: (lornath): administration building, incinerator, habitat corridor, basement, place below

We head back to where we last were in battle.

We search cultists. Find a note: instructions about the need for more security – potential threat to the portal transport operation. Signed, cleo pipe.

We move into a room – a bunch of drones, motionless. There’s a green portal with boxes in it.

Lux clears from traps, Jartha just jumps the quadrone. Not much. Same with Kex.

There’s a portal here. Jartha tries to shove the quadrone through. Some of it breaks off, rest disappears.

We roll up on the area where the cultist leader was trying to summon the demon. We talk to that previous cultist leader. Looks at Jartha “bone devil, what are you doing here”. Jartha “ive never met you in my life – how do you think you know me” cultists guy is like we trained together. Jartha – how did you become a cultist. Cultist is like I found the new life of cleo pipe – don’t you remember – I begged you to come with me. Jartha – I don’t remember you how do I know youre not lying. Cultist is like I never lie.  Kex is like Jartha you never tell us anything. Intelligence check hilarity. Jartha feels like he should know something but he doesn’t. Maybe memory has been stolen.

Cultist dude tries to leave – Kex says tell me what you know about Jartha. Cultist is like I have much to tell you “first I must find the fantasy name generator”. My names Charles Pevy, Jartha and I trained together at the Heather Academy – an elite school in the northeast are of Fellen. He was the best – I strived to be as good as him – but I was not. We were training to be part of the Bone Brigade- the elite. I became disillusioned. With Cleo Pipe I have found my true purpose. Jartha has no memory of this. Kex/Jartha discussion trying to get at Jartha’s past with no result. Jartha doesn’t remember anything.

Kex asks who was the Bone Brigade fighting for. It was a secret fighting force for King Shaw’s secret assault force that he used to solve conflicts behind the scenes.

Jartha asks Pevy about why cultists trying to capture me: I only know that they feel there is something you know but can’t remember but after copious amounts of torture we can find out. Kex is like let’s torture him. Kex is like water torture. Then THE CULT LEADER/DM IS LIKE KILL HIM AND ASK HIM. We can’t.

Kex asks cultist about the bone brigade. Says “I did hear the Hawk is in Ash”. They say he hangs out at the Copper Claymore. You guys gonna let me go, or am I gonna have to go at ya.” Jartha is like let’s let him go.

We go back outside. Quadrone is like are you ready to return. Yes. We go back to the administrative building. We go back, Neves is back. Kex gives Neves shit about Lornath dying. Neves says lornath still may have a part to play in this story. We talk to the pentadrone. We tell him of what went down w/ Binary Prime. Pentadrone says he’s never seen BP stay in a place for more than a few moments. It provides him a layer of protection. We tell him about Lornath. Pentadrone gives us powdered beer. Jartha has the mug and will drink in his honor. We tell him of all the drones, including a pentadrone. That would denote that the pentadrone would have been to the prime material plane – it had been to your world. Much as you shouldn’t be here, they shouldn’t be there. I have never known a modrone to go to the material plane – it is against the law. We tell of the green portal in the incinerator.  We tell of the orbs. The pentadrone feels he has failed, unlawful behavior that he hadn’t seen. It was not his position to know. We talk about the orbs making the fade etc.  The pentadrone is upset – worst news ever. Suggests that we go back to the Time Inn and consult with the Time Mage there. I see you have the lantern – please allow me to make a modification. You will find the light to be much stronger, and you will not have any trouble finding your way.

We ask about habitat corridor, basement, place below.

He’s freaked out with the place below. I won’t speak of where that it is. That is a dark crack in the floor of the plane. All who venture beneath are lost. There are five levels of storage in the habitat corridor. Basement is on the other side of the time inn – a few days after that. Morris would talk about the place below. It is a dangerous and powerful rifts. Any modrone who goes near is simply ripped into atom.

We head back to the Time Inn. The dulcet tones of William Corgan are on stage. We go talk to Morris. Yes? We tell him about Lornath. Sad news. But we think he was hiding things. We think there are things beyond this place. What things do you think are there? Kex tells story about Lornath dying, drones no longer attacking us. Morris found it fascinating lornath was able to operate so easily. We tell Morris of Binary Prime. Binary Prime – that’s a name ive not heard in a long time….long time. Yeah, he’s the evil ruler. Puppet of Cleo Pipe – we could try to use him to get to Cleo Pipe. Unknown how to get to Cleo at this time. We talk about Binary being a construct. We ask about how constructs work. Typically use a soul or volunteer – embodied within the body/construct. Neves is like yeah that’s true. Neves has heard you can extract a soul from a construct. Morris is like ive heard but never has done it. It involves TIME. Morris explains how he himself can freeze time – and can use that moment help people move. Maybe we could find a way to separate the mage soul from the binary prime construct. We talk about a soul being put into a construct.

Morris says he’s going to put out some feelers, try to find ways to accomplish getting to binary prime, but suggests settling in for the evening. We ask about the place below. He knows. How did you hear about that. We say Neves correction Lornath. I can tell you  about the place below. It’s a rift in between several different planes – it manifests below as a grand stair case – it keeps going below. Deadly to all modrones – they get immediately vaporized. Other beings with great strength can get down there. Morris says Binary Prime is a construct with a soul. Morris supports the idea of defeating Prime. Unless of course your other time wizard friend is available.

Jartha arranges for a proper burial of Lornath. We hang out at the bar. Jartha talks to the bartender about Lornath. This one’s on the house.
