“I have solved the fade, with time!” – says Morris The crowd swarms him, talks about how we can use time to fight the fade – points to Ogelsby. Morris describes Alabeth fades – night managers at Time Inn shouted “time” as they were fading. We could use time to help save people or maybe bring people back. Jaree suggests a few of meet privately in Jaree’s nesting tent Rel seems suspicious. Jaree this is incredible, the travel of the time inn into this woods. Ogelsby asks about how the time works. Morris doesn’t really understand – but shows a super high quality pocketwatch. He is able to work with the Modrins (Druids) of Time – can allowed him to partially resist the fade. Couldn’t save the entire building. Able to manipulate his watch WITH HIS MIND. The watch is known as Phanahan. Talks about worlds. Many of us confused. Morris tells us most of Alabeth has been faded. Half the time inn is gone – maybe in another plane. Seems to be telling the truth. Jaree returns to human form – feeds us. Morris explains in more detail what’s happening in the city – people fled. Doesn’t get specific about how time will help. Obelsby is like let me study the watch and Morris is like let’s chat. The watch is Morris’ companion – speaks to him. Tells Ogelsby his watch is 14 seconds early and Ogelsby is flustered. Fair amount of watch talk. Morris mentions a watch person has been faded, but could make a minor adjustment to help Ogelsby’s early watch situation.

Talk of a crypt nearby that has small gears in an antechamber. Ogelsby checks out the watch, solid, feels second hand tick. Jaree/Killius tells us the crypt will be difficult. Ogelsby casts a spell that repairs Morris’s fancy clothes. We get all prepped, healed up. Killius gives us horses/pony and then we’re escorted past Jaree’s lands. Past that it’s super faded – very little green vegetation. No wildlife. We camp. Ogelsby splits Cooky’s Dehydrated After Dinner Omelette for breakfast. We see a large entryway carved into a mountain with dragon statues. We talk in – incredibly dark. We can’t really see much. We light torches, Ogelsby casts light on his cane. We go in. We go one way – empty room with a big stone door at the end with chains etc. Jartha tries to get kexyl to jump and says he’ll leave no one behind. Kex jump halfway across. Kex hears something breathing on the other side of the big stone door. We go the other way and now there’s a fight. We fight those zombies then come back to the door with the breathing/impact tremors. Jartha opens door into a chamber WITH A GIANT. Jartha tries talking to it but language barrier. Giant just starts slamming club on the ground. Kex tries talking to him, then Jartha again. Giant just keeps approaching/smashing. Giant smashes the door open and attacks Jartha. We fight the giant. We win. Ogelsby gets a green gem.

We go into the room where the giant was. Doors in three directions. North/south doors stone, eastern door is wooden. Kex hears dungeon sounds to the east and opens wooden doors. We go down some stairs and find a pool with non-reflective dark water. Oh shit something is moving around beneath the surface. “Sensing your cowardice, two creatures emerge from the pool”. Draconic types. Rough fight, we kill them, find a key. We find an antechamber with a chest, an owl statue, and a desk. Desk has a small envelope sealed with wax. Chest has gold, sapphire gem (chiseled, same as emerald we found before). The envelope had a metal with teeth/gear – Lux keeps it.

We put two gems into statue – statue changes, wilts away, then appears a live owl – starts flapping around. Very unusual color – rich deep green. We learn it’s from the eastern land. Lux summons Joffrey (from the figurine). Joffrey learns it has been here for several centuries. The owl wants to break free wants again. Kex now has two owls on its shoulder. We take the owls outside. The new owl wants to take off – but hesitates, kind of looking for permission. The green owl flies off – extremely fast. We go back in and open the last remaining (perhaps) door. We hear a whispy wind down the hallway. We find a room with zombies and a mist. We kill them all. Kex gets one zombie rag. Before we go we find one last room that overlooked the water. We find a magical remnant. Joffrey tells us there was a demonic presence here. We head back to camp of Jaree – triumphant return!
