Jaree returns. Gather round for I have news. Uses the Bill Walton technique. I found the ArchPoint. There was a glow between this large structure….also, bad news…the portal is being guarded by dragon Sarasta. I think she saw me (Jaree) when I was scouting. This requires a large force, we must gather many of our friends – I have spoken to others as well. We mention father Thorpe and the werebear or whatever. Jaree urges us to depart – he is needed here. Whispers of Vario. Jaree encourages REL and Killius to build armies and join. Encourages Lyric to join us for healing. We can have whomever we want. Sir Gibbons volunteers. We send for all the peeps.

Jaree says there’s a camp half way – meet there, launch your strike from there. Rel will be in charge of ground force, with Killius at Lieutenant, encourage us to act independently.

We start marching towards the half-way camp. Lasses wishing us well on the way out, especially Jarth. Bug also raises a glass to us. First half day go easily. Then several giant owls appear in the distance (off to the east, we’re heading north), circling something. We head over there. As we get closer, owls scouting over towards us – don’t do anything. We see in a large clearing – a series of large vines, entangling a large, gray tiger. Holding it down, crushing it.

We approach, vines withdraw. Kex keeps them at bay at first – many vines to go. Kex asks Tiger – how did you get into this mess. Tiger roars and bellows.

Owls flexing, coming down. Discussion about helping tiger. Owls dive bomb at tiger, the other lands in front of Kexyl and screams. Kex tries animal friendship. Owl acknowledges what we’re saying, gestures to the wood. Stabbing motion at the tiger. Kex says we should withdraw. We get back on track.

We see lots of dense footprints – we know we’re catching up to the assault force. We see Killius and Rel. They’re like WTF was that and Kex says owls and tiger.

We make it to the camp – halfway camp. Killius/Rel – waiting to hear from scouts. Concentrate on clerics, take down archers. Concerns. Blue dragons.  Rel shares that Blue Dragon will use electricity. Could combat with rubber, ground. Rel says dragon is an enormous beast. We discuss ways to kill the dragon. Poisoning etc. Dragons love herbivores, deer, elks, buffalo. We concoct poisoning scheme. We talk about sending out an animal that is poisoned. Cooks skeptical about amount of poison needed/what we have. Merka has a dragon arrow of slaying. Cooks volunteers to help with the poison. Cooks cooking dinner side-by-side with poison. We hope not cross contamination. Revelry going on, we’re abstaining. Neves has a beer.

We talk to Rel about finding an animal to sacrifice with poison to hurt the dragon. Rel supports since impacts to the forest. Says he’ll be back in a bit. Rel comes back with a wayward sheep. We hit up the sheep with some poison, started leading it to the dragon. We get a half cart Mantee and Hafne (Merka’s parents). Not offering a cart, but can drive it.

We load up the cart, Merka drives. We caravan over. We go for a few hours and then see the blue dragon flying in the distance. We roll closer to the dragon. The dragon landed – no longer in the sky. We get a little closer, take it slow. We get beset by cultists…out of the brushery. Kex is like hey we’re part of you and we’re bringing food to the dragon. Kex puts on green arm band. Cultists back away. Larger cultists draws swords and says you idiots this is last seasons’ arm bands. Lead cultist tries to shake us down for all our gold. Kex tells Jartha to give them his money. Jartha shrugs shoulders and fake gives gold to cultists. Uses art-of-surprise to stab lead guy. Combat. We defeat all of them but one guy is alive at the end. Kex talks the guy into delivering the sheep. Kex casts disguise self. Kex now looks like one of the cultist pukes. Kex convince cultist to go with him to feed the dragon. Kex and cultists start heading towards archpoint. Jartha gathers up the 2024 arm bands. 100 g each, Chall has nothing except for the ring, appears non magical. We take 33 each and give Merka one. Kex gives Merka 10 more.

Disguised Kex leading the cart, Jartha/Lux, et al hanging back. The cultist says lets go to the meadow – dragon always finds what it likes in the meadow. Kex leads – can see the archpoint in the distance – like 50 feet tall with purple glow to it. Kex leaves sheep out in meadow, retreats with cart and meadow. Cultist is like where the fuck you taking me. We use the arm band to gag the cultist. Kex heals Jartha/Kex. We take a short rest, Kex sings a song “Two Tickets to Paradise”.  It helps Jartha heal.

We’re rolling with Kex, Jartha, Lux, Lyric, Merka, Neves, Father Thorpe. Lux launches Jaffrey to tell the companions (Emo Boy, Thorpe, Lyric) to join us at the footsteps of the sheep offering.

We see the dragon flying around – closer and closer, doing dive bombs. We talk to Merka about the special arrow. Where does it need to go. Says neck down to belly would be best. We’re at the wood at the edge of the meadow – like 100 feet away. Dragon lands right by sheep – shakes us all. Mostly facing away from us. Eats the sheep instantly. It coughs a little bit – then appears to talk off and fly away.

We hold off on attacking the dragon. We watch/observe. It starts flying away, but it stumbles a bit, flies, stumbles a bit – appears to be drunk flying. Towards the arch point. We leave the cart behind, start advancing. We start walking, hitch our horses. We hear footprints behind us – our army is arriving. We tell the to go slow/silent. Jaffrey scouts a bit and says there are some troops between you all and the arch point. Dragon is at camp at the base of the arch point. There’s a commotion. Many troops heading towards the east (not expecting us from the south). Joffrey checks it out – Rel/Killius army attacking other side of encampment. Our other friends Neves, Thorpe, Lyric have joined us.

We start sneaking forward, sneaking around. Jartha is familiar with this combat scenario. We come around the corner – cultists, others, and the gd dragon. The dragon bellows. Everyone sees us. We hid behind things then there’s a fight.

Big fight including the dragon. We kill everyone, including the dragon, but we keep one person alive.

We ask about getting through the portal. Higher ups go through. They have gold trim on their arm bands. We loot the dead people. Jartha takes a dragon’s tooth.  We take some meat for Cooks. Lux takes ring preventing electrical (first 10 damage is negated). Ring of Grounding.

Kex examines eye of the dragon to determine if it is magical. The eye is magical – detects invisibility. Kex grabs eye ball. Dragon has 10 gems, each worth 100 gold – sapphires. We get an Oath Bow. It’s a long bow.  When you attack an enemy you can make it your sworn enemy. Cleric had mace and one of the gold trimmed arm bands. Jartha takes arm band. Give Merka the mace.
