Accompanied the adventurers from the Castle at the start of the campaign, Lornath was known for his heavy drinking and questionable abilities in combat. He was faded right before the characters eyes. Later he penned a letter in the Fade addressed to the party. Seeing the human embodiment of a black dragon resist the Fade, Lornath handed him the letter to take back to the real world with him. The letter was mostly erased, leaving only a cryptic message. The letter was later restored to full text by the traveler Neves, which then revealed that Lornath and all others who were faded are alive in a different plane of existence.
