First encountered at Killius’s gypsy camp early in the adventures, the party met the unusual and out of place Cleo Pipe and his minion, the creature known as Vario. Later revealed to be the leader of the Cult of the Absconsion, Cleo seeks to plunge the entire world into the Fade to bring about the next phase of humanity. The main antagonist of the adventure, Cleo Pipe has now raised a large army of followers that have weaponinzed the Fade. It has also been revealed that Vario is not truly his minion and is instead working under the supervision of Gladius to gather information about Cleo Pipes shenanigans. Recently the party has learned that Pipe uses a focal point somewhere in the land of Fellen to travel to and fro the Fade dimension.
Originally planned as a shopkeeper, the DM was caught short and needed a character.
